20 years, and now the most effcient two-platen machine on the market is even
better. This compact powerhouse has a new design with lower operating height
for easier access to the mold, nozzle and purging areas, and the lubrication free
linear guidance system is highly precise, energy effcient and clean. Redesigned
from 400 to 770 US tons, the full line of ENGEL duo machines comes standard
with the new CC300 control.
Effciency is key to the new optimized design of the ENGEL duo. Pressure
levels are minimized during movement by use of smart hydraulic drive systems, and
the moving platen is optimally supported and guided on carriages for improved
precision guiding even with heavy molds. Add the servohydraulic ENGEL ecodrive
option and these machines achieve energy consumption values comparable to
all-electric machines.
